This second volume in the ISE series provides an expert account of how innovation, science, and environment (ISE) policies and institutions in Canada are being radically altered by the Harper conservative government. Contributors examine the reshaping of ISE policy in the context of multi-level governance and policy, looking at climate change innovation in the natural resources sector, the internet pharmacy trade, biotechnology, provincial government renewable energy policies, the connection of psychological and human nature with sustainable development, procurement policy and innovation, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, and the commercialization of Canada’s universities.
G.Bruce Doern is professor, public administration and public policy, Carleton University, and politics, University of Exeter (UK).
